This is a struggle every lady is aware of, 'the light skin struggle'. Its safe to say every girl is aware and most are guilty of this struggle. I would call this a struggle because it requires time, effort and commitment, which also comes with the negative and the positive.
First, note that good lightening, brightening and toning products don't come cheap, some even go as far as taking lightening injections which costs nothing less than 50.000 naira while the good and effective lightening creams range from Forty thousand naira to one hundred and fifty thousand naira and they carry names like Spanish white, half caste cream, Egyptian milk, queen Elizabeth serum, fine face cream e.t.c. The lightening injection is taken in shots and requires sessions and a constant visit to your cosmetologist, this injection is taken till you get your desired skin tone. Glutathione injection promises no side effect but anything that messes with your outsides like that is definitely going to mess your insides up as well, the side effects include:
Hairloss
White spot on nails
Numbness of extremities
Shivers and shakes
Depression and anxiety
The complications include:
Systematic infections
Steven-Johnson's syndrome
Lyell's disease
Kidney failure
Thyroid dysfuction
Severe abdominal pain
woooooow!!! Scary stuff right? Yeah... I know.
Most of the users of this product are not told about the side effects of the product, they are told that it cures and prevents some certain diseases and the side effect of the drug is the lightening effect. Even when the drug is googled, all you see is the wonders it does, claiming zero side effects and who wouldn't jump at that when your desire is to get a flawless bright skin. p.s this is not a review on the product.

I once asked a guy what he likes in a girl and he replied saying all he likes is a light skin girl and nothing more and I once went for an ushering job interview where I was told I wasn't light nor fair enough. So would you argue with me when I say the light skin is the acceptable skin colour in the female world? In a room full of beautiful girls the light skinned girl is considered the most attractive and most beautiful leaving the dark and brown skinned girls feeling inferior and less beautiful leading them into the drastic bleaching decision they make. We live in a society where being told 'you are getting lighter or fairer' is considered a very nice compliment and being told 'you are getting really dark' keeps you up at night.

The "no money" syndrome.
If you are a babe with the love for fashion, food, makeup and the finer things in life, you will definitely know what I am talking about. I'm sure every girl has had this fantasy of being able to have the things in magazines by just wishing it into existence.
Now the harsh reality !!!!

10 attributes a guy shouldn't possess
Guys complain about the things or attitude girls put up on the first date forgetting that they could have been the cause of these actions. These are ten attributes a guy shouldn't possess if he doesn't want a crazy or unbearable girl.
1. Don't be a send me a pic everytime kinda dude. Dear guys this statement is annoying and irritating and this really puts a lot of girls off.
2. Don't be a when we gonna chill kinda nigga. I think I speak for every girl when I say this is the most annoying statement ever. it just comes off to me as let's have sex.
3. Drop the accent if it doesn't sit well on your tongue. This is common amongst the staunch Igbo brothers, this is just plain irritating. please stop!!!
4.Don't be a show-off. I know some girls do like guys that show off e.g bragging about what you own or the places you have been and how much all your accessories cost but these attract the wrong kind of girls and you should be blamed if she starts billing you on behalf of her ancestors and her future unborn generation.
5. Don't complain or rant about girls too much, trust me it gets really boring and unattractive.
6. Don't be an "i can take care of u" kinda dude, I will bill you and don't blame me for that.
7. Don't rant about how many girls want you or how many girls you can get. its boring and a major turn-off.
8. Stop dressing like bouncers and have arms bigger than dwayne Johnson's. That is not a good look and would definitely make me bring like five to ten of my friends if I ever agree to see u.
9. Don't talk about sex all the time and how you are going to ravage and destroy her on bed or whatever nick name you gave your junk. its silly and very unattractive.
10. Don't be a smash and run kinda dude. THIS ACTION WOULD DEFINITELY GET YOU A CRAZY GIRL.
So dear guys before you rant about how crazy a girl is or how she billed you, make sure you don't possess any of these attributes if not all the attributes, or else you get what you deserve. These would definitely make her bring her friends along out of fear or ask you to sort out her ancestral problems out of bragging and show off.
